Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 28oC, hot and sunny..
It is 10 p.m., and I am writing in my diary again. It has been a month since I started journaling, and it has become my most important companion. It is a place where I can confide my thoughts, worries, and plans.
My bond with my diary has become so strong that I miss it when I skip a day of writing. It has become part of my daily routine and helps me organize my life.
Today, Yasmin went back to her mother’s house. While I enjoy spending time with her, I also like being alone. Right now, I am writing in my diary with a bottle of wine, a gift from a student during Christmas.
I am grateful for the tranquillity of being alone, the company of my thoughts, and the presence of my diary. It reminds me that the simplest pleasures in life are often the best.
Writing in my diary at the end of the day helps me reflect on my life, find solace in solitude, and appreciate life’s small but profound moments. It reminds me that life’s greatest treasures are often right in front of us, waiting to be discovered or appreciated.
It’s a pleasure to have you here with me, taking the time to reflect and express gratitude. I hope you find joy in the simple things in life and that your diary – no matter what form it takes – becomes a close and valuable companion on your journey.
Thank you.
Thank you for your constant support. Please feel free to explore more of my blog posts, and don’t hesitate to comment; I always appreciate your thoughts.
