Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 35oC, very hot and sunny.
It is Sunday, and it is boiling! Usually, on Sunday mornings, I like to do a light workout at the end of Leme, but this time, it turned out to be more demanding and even heavier than usual; I don’t know why.
Yasmin woke up around 10:30 a.m. and expressed concerns about my upcoming trip to England. She seemed anxious about my stay, as her mother suggested I stay there for a year or more.
I feel her mother is being a bit malicious, but I reassured Yasmin that the length of my stay will depend on her grandmother’s health and the situation there.
If everything is fine, I will only stay for a few months. But if her grandmother’s health is not well, I may have to stay longer than planned to care for her.
However, it is not so bad as we can keep in touch every day through the Internet, Whatsapp, Skype, etc. Moreover, if I need to stay longer, Yasmin could visit and stay for a month during her school holidays. It is good to know how important I am to her as a father.
In bed by 9 p.m.
Thank you!
