Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 30oC, hot, Sunny and unstable.
I woke up early today and headed to Leme for a rigorous workout. After that, I quickly returned home to shower, change my clothes, and give classes. Walking by the beach in the morning made me appreciate the beauty of Rio de Janeiro even more. It’s fantastic to have such stunning surroundings every day, and it is truly fulfilling for the soul.
Later in the afternoon, I collected money from a student. I also took the opportunity to pay and register the name of my new bracelet brand – “Place Beads”. Although I am unsure about the name, it’s growing on me, and only time will tell.
The name “Place” is derived from the word “placebo”, which means to have a psychological benefit, calming and positive effect; medicinal. In medicine, a placebo is given to a patient who thinks they are taking actual medication, but it is not.
However, the patient is psychologically cured by the placebo. In some ways, Place Beads has a similar effect. The bracelets are not made of expensive materials or precious stones but only resin. Nevertheless, they are beautiful and eye-catching, making the wearer feel good and confident.
Wearing Place Beads bracelets elevates self-esteem, making them feel confident and beautiful. The irony of the Place Beads brand is that it’s unlike other expensive and overpriced fashion brands that don’t necessarily guarantee quality or good taste. Instead, buying something beautiful that doesn’t cost a fortune also makes it charming.
Yasmin arrived late in the afternoon with her marble chessboard and pieces. Later that evening, we played two games. We drew the first game, and I won the second. I think she enjoyed playing with me. Spending quality time and engaging in these little events with our children shows them how important they are to us and vice versa.
It was raining heavily in Rio at night, so several parts of the city were flooded. Yasmin was with me, but I was worried about Jessica.
I messaged her to check on her, and she replied that she was at a friend’s house in Jardim Botanico and would wait for the rain to stop before returning home.
I asked her to let me know if she needed anything and to message me once she had returned home safely. Mario eventually picked her up, and she safely arrived home by midnight.
In bed by midnight.
Thank you.
