Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 35oC, boiling with a clear sky.
I woke up at 4:30 a.m., made my bed, got dressed and headed out to the street by 5. On my way to exercise at the end of Leme, I stopped at the 24-hour luncheonette on the corner of my street to buy a cafezinho.
I always enjoy having a cup of coffee while on my way there. I make it a habit to give a tip to those who serve me at a bar, restaurant, or bakery as a way of showing my appreciation.
After a heavy workout, I take a refreshing shower and have a cup of green tea. I am ready to work by 8 a.m. I will meet a pupil for coffee at 10 a.m., followed by online classes at 11 a.m.
In the afternoon, I did a little bit of study, not so much as I was still feeling a little lazy due to the run-up to the carnival, but despite this, things are still getting done. I had a short talk with Nalva and Yasmin about money, and everything is good.
More and more, I’m giving importance to a healthier routine. One year ago, I began to workout/exercise on a regular basis. The sessions at the end of Leme were not the best or the most complete; truthfully, they were very bad, and now, after one year, the sessions are much better to the point that people approach me and ask me if I am a personal trainer or professional.
They also express their admiration for doing it outside in the open air and that it is inspirational for them. Now it is impossible for me to go two days without doing exercise.
JUST BEGIN! INVESTING TIME, EFFORT, AND WILLPOWER CAN MAKE YOU BECOME A BETTER PERSON!
When it comes to starting a new job or side hustle, many of us hesitate to take the plunge, even when it’s necessary or something we really want to do that is important for us and the people around us.
It’s like starting a new exercise routine – in the beginning, you might feel raw, terrible, and not good at it, but with time and dedication, you will improve, and eventually, you will not be able to live without it.
So, don’t be afraid to begin something new and different, even if you’re not good or perfect at the start; it is normal. Just commit yourself to it and watch as you grow and improve over time.
JUST START! JUST DO IT! JUST GO AHEAD AND DON’T LOOK BACK!
Do something different that is outside your normal routine and comfort zone; the results will surprise you!
There are 3 bottles of perfectly chilled wine in the fridge. I was seriously tempted to open at least one, but I had to control myself.
In bed by 9:00 p.m.
Thank you.
