Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 24oC, warmish, sunny, and slightly overcast.
As I mentioned yesterday, progress is slow but constant, and it is good as long as new possibilities appear to encompass the final goal. Many successful people swear that the journey is more important than the destination.
Enjoy every part of the journey, and do not worry so much about the goal.
I have noticed that the photography site’s name is suitable for a service site and a platform to provide all kinds of services to all photographers who want to commercialise their work, but not specifically for me as a photographer. On Instagram, my photography page is Richard George Photography, which I like. I then went to the online domain agency to check for another domain of the same name.
There was not, so I registered it. Some registrars offer hosting plans and the registration service when you register a domain. However, my registrar does not provide hosting plans, and I have a two-day window to complete the payment for my registration. I prefer to print the payment slip and pay in cash at the bank.
I have acquired an additional domain, which implies more responsibility to develop and put it online in the next few months. As I have numerous domains and their respective sites, it is a little bit of trial and error. It is possible that some of the sites could take off and succeed in their related businesses while others may not. Time will be the only judge of their success.
I believe that it’s important to trust our intuition. Our inner voice often guides us towards what’s right and what’s wrong. Ignoring our intuition can lead to negative consequences, especially when it’s warning us about something.
Personally, I have ignored my intuition in the past and paid a heavy price for it. Tomorrow, I need to purchase a new domain and continue on this journey. It’s just the beginning, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
Wednesday is just a normal day with a walk. As I am still recovering from a cold, I just walk around the neighbourhood, more inside than out, in front of the beach and along the Aterro. I had a coffee on the way back, with the first class at 7 am.
The classes are going well, and for some reason, I feel well; living with my ex-wife until now has had no real unpleasant surprises. There was the question of money in the middle of last month, and I think from our talk, she has learned the importance of managing money well and being highly conservative with it because it neither grows on trees nor falls from the sky. Frugality has a lot to say for itself!!!
Recently, I have noticed that the peaceful atmosphere at home has positively affected my classes. When I am mentally healthy and everything is going well, my teaching becomes more enjoyable, lighter, and happier, ultimately benefiting my students. Some of my pupils have even commented on the positive change, so everyone seems to benefit from the calm environment.
Yasmin went to Catete after school to buy a present for a party she was going to on Friday. She arrived home at about four p.m., had lunch, and everything was surprisingly good.
In bed by 10.00 pm.
Thank you.
Thanks for reading my blog. Check out my other posts and share your thoughts in the comments.
