Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 25oC, warm, cloudy but slightly sunny.
It’s the middle of the week, but it’s almost the end of the month. It’s been quite a month, and everything seems to be falling into place.
I may be repeating myself, but I haven’t accomplished this much in such a short time in a while. Everything has come together at the right time, but getting to that time requires a lot of work and time investment.
Perseverance is also a key factor that we cannot or should not ignore. Without it, probably 99.9% of the world would not have been built. I’m going to travel at the end of November, on the 22nd to be exact. What are my plans until I travel?
First, avoid drinking wine until then. It will be challenging to abstain from drinking in England, but I want to go there in good shape – slim and not bloated from alcohol.
The second thing is concerning my teeth. I want to have implants before I go, but I haven’t heard anything from the dentist until now. I paid a part of the cost last month and informed the secretary about my travel plans and that I would like to have the procedure done before going to England. However, she hasn’t responded yet. This week, I will call her and deposit more money. As they say, money moves mountains.
I plan to keep exercising until I travel, even beyond that. I want to be in top shape and feel confident in going to England. As my travel dates approach, I will concentrate even more and intensify my training.
I have plans to launch at least four or five websites and have them up and running before my trip to England. “The Long Gringo” will be completed and online this week, followed by “Place Beads” in 10 to 15 days.
After that, I plan to work on two more sites. One will be my personal photography site, and the other may be a site for the school, although I haven’t decided yet. Even though it will be cold in England, I’m determined to exercise every morning, so I’ll take my computer and exercise equipment.
As the time difference between England and Brazil is 3 or 4 hours, depending on the time of the year and the seasons, I can have almost the whole morning to myself, with classes starting at either 11 AM or midday.
I have already bought a coat for the cold. Maybe I should buy another pair of boots. I already have a pair which I like very much that goes with everything, but they are old and need to be repaired. Let’s see.
I think that it’s important to continue exercising and working. Everything should be good to go. I will call KLM Airlines a month before travelling to ensure everything is okay. Everything will be OK, but you never know. We live in a crazy world nowadays where nothing is clear anymore. And that’s it.
Wednesday was a good day. I worked, so I made money, which is always good. I made some minor tweaks to the two websites, and now I’m just waiting for the weather to change so I can take some photos of the bracelets in the sun for the ‘Place Beads’ website.
Natural sunlight, usually early in the morning or later in the afternoon, is the best light for taking pictures. However, the last couple of days have been rainy and overcast. There’s no rush to take the photos, but I would like to get them done this weekend.
I plan to post my first blog on September 1st, but I’m not entirely sure yet. Let’s see how things go. I want to express that everything is going well, and I feel very happy and grateful as this month ends.
In bed by 9.30 pm.
Thank you.
