Rio de Janeiro: 26 degrees, hottish, sunny and a little overcast.
Today, I got laid. I believe it’s the first time in three months and with the same person.
We’ve had a story for quite a while, but I think something seems to be missing from both sides regarding being truly serious.
I have a deep admiration for her. I see her as a female warrior, working, supporting her family, helping others, and never complaining. She runs her own business and works hard, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility. She’s also beautiful, and I enjoy her company. We get on very well together. She ticks all the boxes, but something is still missing for me and me.
I got up early in the morning, exercised at home, and set off to have breakfast with my friend. She lives about four kilometres away from me, so I took the bus there and walked back. On the way back, I stopped at a chemist to buy a few things and visited a shopping centre near my home.
I wanted to inquire about changing a shirt I received as a Christmas present from Dona Vera for a pair of jeans for when I go to England. The shop was closed because it was still early on a Sunday, but just wandering around the mall was enjoyable.
I arrived home at around 1:00 p.m., had lunch at approximately 4:00 p.m., and took Perola out for a long walk at 5:00 p.m., which lasted an hour and a half.
A lovely Sunday that’s not just about getting laid, although that is very enjoyable, and I know my skin will look good, healthy, and shiny tomorrow. It was a delightful Sunday for walking a lot on a pleasant day that wasn’t too hot.
Walking soon makes us feel happy and we don’t really need much to be happy!!!
Tomorrow, I must focus on the tasks that must be completed before travelling. The most important task is to finish the ‘Placebeads’ site; that is essential.
I am not exactly sure what I will do or what will happen when I go to England. Hopefully, my time there will be more positive than negative. I haven’t seen my mother for a long time, and she is quite a difficult person, so I need to be as flexible and patient as possible. Ultimately, besides being difficult, she is elderly, and it is her house. Let’s wait and see.
However, I’d like to talk about the following points while I’m in England:
- Make peace with my mother.
- Resolve any financial and legal issues.
- Meet new people and make friends.
- Focus on work, primarily teaching classes and writing blog posts.
- Explore many places and take plenty of pictures.
- Buy clothes and a camera.
- See my brother and attempt to resolve our differences.
- Discover myself and find inner peace.
- Enjoy my time in England.
- And above all, be happy.
As with any goal, aspiration, or project, things never go according to plan or as you had expected; you will never be able to reach 100%. However, if you manage to achieve 80% of what you aimed for or planned, then that is more than satisfactory, and you should feel grateful.
Many times in life, success is defined by how we cope with disappointment and deception!!!
In bed by 10.30 pm.
Thank you.
