Wordsley, Stourbridge, England: 1 degree, very cold, with light grey skies and no snow.
I’m writing this entry on Friday, the 19th, two days after today.
Usually, I write an entry at the end of the same day or the next, so that it is generally fresh in my mind. Nowadays, with the amount of things we cram into each day, trying to remember what we did the day before can be difficult.
When I began journaling, sometimes due to excuses, a lack of discipline, and organisation, I would have a backlog of entries of up to a week. I would sometimes have to write at least two or three journal entries for three or four days to catch up.
Realising the fundamental importance of writing every day and then reorganising my routine so that it’s automatic has made a huge difference in my life, as well as in the quality of the entries. Not to mention how much more pleasurable it now is and how it feels less like a task.
Again, repeating myself, creating routines that you automatically do without feeling the work, the hassle, or the trouble of doing them greatly improves your quality of life and efficiency. As I’m also a morning person, I’m able to accomplish many things before midday, and often much earlier, before 9:00 a.m.
I’m writing this entry just before midday.
I haven’t gone for a walk yet because it’s very cold, but I’m already in the café on the green, having a tea. I have already written, prepared, and posted a blog entry. I’ve also given a class and planned the rest of the day.
Although I haven’t given as many classes as I would like to have, it’s still early, the year is only beginning, and people are still travelling, etc. I probably won’t be fully into giving classes until after Carnival. This is good because I can use this time to work and elaborate on other projects while I have spare and idle time.
My plan is to create YouTube faceless-automation videos, which are essentially videos without showing myself, and use AI platforms to generate content based on my journal entries.
I honestly do not know anything about the culture and mechanisms of YouTube. I also don’t know a lot about anything very well. I know a little about video editing. Of course, I’m familiar with the basics and principles, but I lack the experience to confidently say I know how to do it well. It will be a steep learning curve.
Ultimately, my journal entries will serve as a solid foundation, hopefully providing good content and material for my videos. I don’t even know if my blog is really any good. It was created as a form of self-therapy for myself, while also aiming to help others by showing them that they’re not alone and that they are not the only ones facing the same situations, problems, or ordeals.
We can only try and see if it works. If it does, great; if not, we can learn from it and improve or do something else. The most important thing is to try, because without trying, we won’t achieve anything.
In the evening, I watched an old and interesting film with my mother and was in bed by midnight.
If this entry is not up to the same quality as the others, I do apologise.
Thank you.
