Wordsley, Stourbridge, England: 8 degrees, a beautiful morning with the weather closing later in the day.
This is my third day of exercising outside on the patio in my mother’s back garden, and it can’t get any better.
Sometimes, when working out in Rio with temperatures ranging from 20 to 30°, I would feel euphoric. Here, the effect of the cold makes you want to conquer the world.
It is Friday, and slowly but surely, pupils are returning from the silly period of December and January. Even a family that has been having classes with me on and off for the last 15 years have reached out to me. My classes are a means to pay the bills, but my true passion is creating content for online platforms.
What is also fermenting in my mind is to turn ‘The Right Way School’ into an online course and ‘Teahogui’ into an online digital agency for teachers.
‘The long gringo’ blog, a personal site about Brazil, life in general, perseverance, and travel. For me, it acts as a kind of supercharged therapy for self-help, aiming to inspire and support others. I believe we all need some help and encouragement from time to time in a friendly and light-hearted way. Personally, journaling and sharing my entries on my blog have been incredibly helpful, and I believe they may also be beneficial to others.
‘Teahogui’ is an online digital agency helping people learn English and connect with it at all levels. It is primarily aimed at adults, but I believe the lessons can also be suitable for others. The idea is to pair clients with teachers, guides, and possibly hosts.
‘The Right Way English’ is self-explanatory; it’s an online course featuring engaging YouTube videos that help people understand, learn, and improve their English.
‘Placebeads’, fashion bracelets and possibly necklaces made from beads, mainly resin beads, derive their appeal from simplicity and the versatility of various combinations. The marketing of these beads is characterised by simplicity, the placebo effect, and their handmade nature. It is similar to Havaianas’ marketing in that it is a straightforward product with good taste and an accessible price, whilst still projecting an image of exclusivity and charm to everyone.
There are other business sites, but these are the main ones, and they are more than enough in terms of work and responsibility. It is essential to note that these are sites, products, and services that I am deeply passionate about, which I believe is crucial.
It is also worth mentioning that, with giving classes and developing ‘The long gringo’ blog site, which still has a lot to be done and improved, I am just really scratching the surface of its potential at the moment, meaning I have a lot to do for the rest of the year.
Next week, I will begin to develop YouTube automation for ‘The long gringo’, videos based on my blog posts for the YouTube channel of the same name, but without myself appearing by using AI.
The idea is that it could potentially be monetised to generate an additional source of income. I understand that when we start something new, it is very difficult because we are entirely ignorant to this new challenge. Our responsibility is to learn as quickly as possible and to master it to the best of our ability.
This only happens through dedication and focus, which allows us to reach our goals eventually. If I can become successful through ‘The long gringo’ blog, I could also do the same for English didactic classes via ‘The right way English School’ YouTube channel.
Let’s see how things go, it is just the beginning!
