Wordsley, Stourbridge, England: 2 degrees, very cold, sunny and slightly overcast with the possibility of snow.
The forecast is for snow for the next couple of days. Still, I’m not so sure it is not uncommon to have snow in either February or March in England.
My mother said that there was snow in England in April last year, but my sixth sense is telling me that it could even get very close to snow, and maybe snow will even occur in other regions of England. Still, I don’t believe it will snow where we are.
I have memories of it snowing a lot when I was a child, and especially when I got drunk on Boxing Day with a friend from our group, drinking a bottle of martini while walking in the snow in Wollaston. The snow was thick and heavy, and it was very cold. We had a whale of a time, feeling nothing because we were drunk on bottles of martini, which numbed everything, including our brains, toes, and fingers.
I was so bad the next day that I never again drank martini, even the smell puts me off!
I also have memories of going to a local park with at least 12 inches of snow. We would slide down the hills on sledges, but at that time, we didn’t have the proper clothing or boots, so the pain from frostbite in our fingers and toes was too much to bear.
Today, thanks to technology, clothing that protects us against the cold is much more effective than it was in the past. It is now easy to buy good clothes that can protect us from the elements at reasonable prices, which was not the case in the past.
I came to England bringing three pairs of boots with me, thinking about the cold.
After a typical morning of exercise both inside and outside, posting a blog entry and writing another entry in my journal, there was a space between classes. I need to buy some stuff for a salad, but really, I wanted to go to the more sophisticated cafe on the green because I think that one of the girls who works there is very attractive.
Since the first time I saw her enter the café, I found her to be very interesting and attractive. When we first spoke, and even more so after that, I felt an attraction —a chemistry that I feel when meeting a future girlfriend for the first time.
My intuition is telling me that there is something special there. I can also tell, from the things she says and the minor provocations, that she is interested or attracted, but that does not mean that anything will happen.
I don’t think she is married because she doesn’t wear a wedding ring, but she could have a boyfriend, fiancé, or even a girlfriend; it’s hard to know nowadays. I could also have been entirely wrong in my interpretation of the situation and the chemistry.
Or, even just the circumstances may not allow it to happen for personal reasons on either side.
All I know is that I think she is an extremely attractive and beautiful woman, and there is a sprinkling of chemistry there. I have not felt that way in such a long time that I can’t even remember the last time I felt like this. If something happens or doesn’t, only the future and destiny know. I could even go back to Brazil, and only the next time I’m here we get to connect, and even if we do, it doesn’t guarantee anything; it could be a total washout and disaster.
The truth is that my real priorities are others, which are to develop my businesses and make a lot of money.
Classes the whole day and in bed by 11 p.m.
Thank you.
