Wednesday, the 1st of May 2024: “A New Year and New Goals: Charting My Path to 60”!!!

Wordsley, Stourbridge, England: 19 degrees, quite warm, sunny and with a few clouds.

Last year was very good for me: I came to England, saved and invested money, saw my mother, and met many new and interesting people.

But that was last year; it’s behind me, and now I must focus on this year and the years ahead. My aim is to achieve the goals — or at least some of them — by the time I turn 60. 60 is the deadline. If I don’t reach them by then, maybe I never will, or perhaps it will happen when I least expect it, so we can never be sure.

I have divided my goals into two categories: materialistic and work. It seems quite limited, and in some ways, it is. Regarding my heart, I want to let it be and see what unfolds. With two broken marriages and two beautiful daughters, whatever happens is welcome and already a gain for me.

To consider myself financially free with at least $10 million or £10,000,000 in the bank, probably through investments. For example, mainly cryptocurrencies and more specifically Bitcoin. Bitcoin coin is one of my pathways to financial freedom; funds, shares, savings accounts, etc., do not interest me.

I hope to be clever enough to capitalise on current market trends and earn enough money so I won’t have to worry about finances in the future.

  • $10 million in money and investments and or £10,000,000 in cash and investments.
  • My Own Place:

First, temporarily, while my mother is still alive, and then when she dies, I will have my own place:

  • I stay in my mother’s house for a year and then sell it and move on.
  • I buy my own place, or in England, Europe or Brazil.
  • If I marry an English woman or partner, I will stay in England.
  • I buy a cheap place and do it up in Europe. France, Spain, Portugal, Italy or Greece.
  • I buy land in Terasopolis, near Francisco, my friend, and have a place there in the mountains with trees, etc.

I also either help or buy places for Jessica, Yasmin, and Nalva. Jessica is in a comfortable position as she will inherit Cibele’s flat in the future. I am more worried about Yasmin and Nalva.

  • A Dog:

I have a greyhound and possibly a Malinois or a Cane Corso. This also depends on where my base will be in the future..

  • A Car and Motorbike:

I have a decent-to-good vehicle and a good motorbike. A perfect car isn’t so important to me, but a nice or unique motorbike is.

  • A Sailboat:

I own a sailboat — either an HH44 or a Vaan 5, both of which are catamarans — or even a PC 66 retro-style monohull. The Performance Cruiser 66 appeals to me most, as it combines style with practical performance..

  • A Country House:

This relates to item two of my own place, but having a country house as my base is lovely, whether in Europe or in Brazil..

  • Graduated:

For me to officially complete a qualification in something from the Open University, such as psychology, innovative design, or another field.

  • The Long Gringo:

To improve and make the long gringo a success: to make the long gringo blog, www.thelonggringo.com.br. A success, principally by improving it:

  • Improved text, copy and content
  • Monetise, affiliate marketing
  • Merchandising
  • The long gringo YouTube channel
  • English in England and Brazil.
  • The Right Way/Teahogui:
  • English classes online and in person
  • online courses
  • English guides, daily
  • English hosts, weekly, fortnightly, monthly

To make ‘The right way school’ and ‘Teahogui’ references for English classes, both in person and online, immersive, and as tourist guides.

Expand on the English language as both a tool and a culture, then ask two questions at the end about making money.

Your social entrepreneurship aims to help people earn income through English EG teachers, guides, hosts, merchandise, wisdom, psychology, self-help, and more.

  • Branding and Development of smaller brands

Placebeads, Bruce Clothing, Richard George Photography, etc. To develop and make these brands successful

  • A coffee shop

Cafe Greyhound, offering good and quick service. Points available both in Brazil and England.

My goals until I’m 60!!!

My day ended with my usual morning routine and an afternoon walk along the canal with Julie, Austin, and her. We stopped at Wetherspoons for a late lunch; I had fish and chips, and she had scampi — it was perfect. In the evening, we headed to the old Wharf Inn pub with Austin to finish the night. It was very pleasant.

In bed by 11:00 p.m.

Thank you.
